Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Update: Produced by Rajan Shahi, Star Plus' YRKKH has been entertaining viewers since 2009 and is set to complete 15 years in January. Currently, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai features Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod in the lead roles of Abhimanyu and Akshara respectively. The duo entered the family drama in 2021 after Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan's exit due to a generation leap.
YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI CURRENT TRACK: AKSHARA IS PREGNANT
As Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai continues to win hearts, the current track revolves around the aftermath of Abhinav's (Jay Soni) shocking demise. While Abhir was unable to come to terms with the accident, Abhimanyu and Akshara came together to take care of their son and are now good friends.
As shown in the latest promos, AbhiRa will decide to get married again so that Abhir can finally get the love of his parents together. Amid the wedding festivities, Akshara will get to know that she's pregnant with Abhinav's child. While fans are eagerly awaiting to know how Abhimanyu and other family members would react to it, there are rumours about Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai taking another generation leap in November.
Not just that, there are speculations that TV star Shaheer Sheikh is being considered to essay the role of grown-up Abhir after the exit of Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod due to the leap. SHAHEER SHEIKH & YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI CONNECTION
For those who are unaware, Shaheer Sheikh played the lead role in the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai spin-off, titled Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke. Another interesting coincidence is that the name of his character in YRHPK was Abir. Yes, you read that right! Featuring Rhea Sharma opposite Shaheer, the show premiered on Star Plus in 2019 and was a hit among viewers.
However, when the show returned to TV after a short break due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, its ratings witnessed a dip and it ended in the same year. After the end of Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke, Shaheer reunited with Rajan Shahi for Star Bharat's Woh Toh Hai Albelaa and it'll be interesting to see if he'll team up with Shahi once again for YRKKH or not.
