Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai New Female Lead: Featuring Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod in the lead roles of Abhimanyu and Akshara respectively, Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is set to take another generation leap from the next month. The rumours around the leap have been doing the rounds for the past few weeks, however, producer Rajan Shahi recently confirmed the same leaving AbhiRa fans sad.

YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI NEW LEADS

As the new season of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is set to commence in a few weeks, current leads Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod will soon bid adieu to the long-running Star Plus show. Amid all this, the makers have also unveiled the names of new YRKKH leads. As reported earlier, Samridhi Shukla and Shehzada Shami are set to enter the family drama as the new protagonists.

As revealed in the latest promo of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Samridhi will be essaying the role of Akshara (Pranali Rathod) and Abhinav's (Jay Soni) daughter named Abhira. Wondering who is Samridhi Shukla? Here's everything you need to know about her.

WHO IS SAMRIDHI SHUKLA? EVERYTHING ABOUT NEW YRKKH HEROINE

Samridhi Shukla is an Indian television actress and a proficient voice-over artist. She commenced her career in the field of dubbing, lending her voice to projects such as the Hindi version of The Kissing Booth 2, the English version of Gunjan Saxena, and the Hindi rendition of Project Power.

In 2021, she marked her acting debut in the Kannada film Taj Mahal 2, where she played the lead role opposite Devaraj Kumar. Subsequently, in 2022, the actress entered TV and played the role of the female protagonist in the Colors TV show Saavi Ki Savaari alongside Farman Haider.

Saavi Ki Savaari went off-air recently and the actress is now set to entertain fans as Abhira in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. As the show marks her first collaboration with Star Plus and Rajan Shahi, it'll be interesting to see if she'll be able to make her mark in the show like previous leading ladies - Hina Khan, Shivangi Joshi, and Pranali Rathod.
