Rajan Shahi, the producer of YRKKH, recently confirmed that the show's new season is in the works. Due to the leap, the current lead stars will bid adieu to their characters very soon.

As Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod's exits from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai are confirmed, the makers are currently in the process of signing new actors who will play the lead after the impending time jump. As reported earlier, several known names including Shaheer Sheikh and Fahmaan Khan were reportedly approached to take Harshad's place as the new hero.

Several recent reports suggest that the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai team has finalized Kumkum Bhagya fame Shivam Khajuria as the new male lead. However, everyone is confused as the latest buzz states that the makers have signed someone else and not Shivam. Yes, you read that right!

According to a report in Tellychakkar, Shehzada Dhami is the new male lead of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Yes, you read that right! However, an official confirmation from the makers' side regarding the same is still awaited.

WHO IS SHEHZADA DHAMI?

For those who are unaware, Shehzada Dhami is a popular Indian television actor, model, and fitness enthusiast who also owns a good following on social media. He is best known for essaying pivotal roles in hit TV shows like Choti Sarrdaarni and Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka. Shehzada essayed the role of Param, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia aka Seher's brother in Choti Sarrdaarni. Interestingly, their co-star Anita Raj is confirmed to join YRKKH cast after the leap.

Shehzada was last seen playing the lead role in Dangal TV's Shubh Shagun alongside Yeh Hai Mohabbatein fame Krishna Mukherjee.

The makers of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai are likely to introduce the leap in November. However, there's still no clarity on the timeline.
