Kundali Bhagya New Palki Name: In 2017, Kundali Bhagya, a spin-off of Ekta Kapoor's popular series Kumkum Bhagya, premiered on ZEE TV. Originally, it featured Shraddha Arya and Dheeraj Dhoopar (later replaced by Shakti Arora) as the main leads Preeta and Karan Luthra respectively, and turned out to be a big success.

KUNDALI BHAGYA NEW PALKI NAME REVEALED

Approaching its seventh anniversary in July this year, Kundali Bhagya continues to uphold its position as one of ZEE TV's top-rated shows, despite encountering various challenges. Last year, the series underwent a transformation with a generation help, retaining Shraddha Arya as Preeta while introducing a fresh cast including Sana Sayyad, Paras Kalnawat, and Baseer Ali as Palki, Rajveer, and Shaurya respectively.

While the show has been performing well even after the generation leap, Sana Sayyad has put her papers down due to pregnancy and the makers have roped in Imlie star Adrija Roy to enter as the new Palki. In a recent interview, Adrija finally confirmed her entry in Kundali Bhagya.

ADRIJA ROY CONFIRMS REPLACING SANA SAYYAD IN KUNDALI BHAGYA

Sharing details, Adrija Roy told ETimes, "I am glad that I have bagged a big show after Imlie. There is a lot of uncertainty in our profession. When Durga Aur Charu wrapped up in 4 months, I wasn't sure if I would get good projects, but luckily Gul madam (Khan) liked me and offered me Imlie. Imlie was a joy ride. From playing a bar girl to a bahu it was a challenge playing the character in Imlie. And I felt that the show will last longer but in 10 months, it wrapped up. It was a great journey because I loved my role."

Revealing how she bagged Kundali Bhagya, she added, "While I was shooting for my last episode, I got a call for Kundali Bhagya. So, am glad that after such a good show Imlie, I am going to be part of another big show Kundali Bhagya. It is a great opportunity and it will be a challenge to play Palki."
