Produced by Sobo Films, the show features Marathi actress Rutuja Bagwe as the female lead, and fans have been eagerly awaiting its premiere.

Recently, photos of Ankit and Rutuja from the promo shoot of Maati Se Bandhi Dor generated buzz on social media, igniting anticipation among TV audiences for the forthcoming show. The much-awaited drama has begun filming, with recent shooting sessions taking place in Kolhapur.

Amid all this, the latest buzz suggests that the makers have roped in another talented actor to essay a negative character in the upcoming daily soap.

IMLIE ACTOR GAURAV MUKESH JOINS MAATI SE BANDHI DOR CAST

Well, we're talking about Gaurav Mukesh who essayed the pivotal role of Sundar in Sumbul Touqeer Khan's hit Star Plus show Imlie. Yes, you read that right!

Revealing the same, a source told ETimes, "Maati Se Bandhi Dor is set against the Marathi backdrop. The shooting is in full swing, and Gauravv is the latest addition to the cast. He will portray a negative character."

However, an official announcement regarding the same is still awaited from the makers' side.

Interestingly, Maati Se Bandi Dor is expected to replace Imlie at the time slot of 8:30 pm in May end or June beginning. However, the makers are yet to announce its premiere date.
