Deepika Singh On Mangal Lakshmi & Anupamaa: Produced by Panorama Productions, Mangal Lakshmi premiered on Colors TV in February this year amid a huge buzz and expectations. Deepika Singh, known for her memorable portrayal of Sandhya Rathi in Diya Aur Baati Hum, made her much-awaited TV comeback with the show and is playing the lead role of Mangal, capturing audiences' hearts once again.

While Deepika Singh is getting a good response for fans for performance and Mangal Lakshmi is also performing well on the TRP front, a section of TV viewers have been comparing the Colors show with Rupali Ganguly-starrer Anupamaa on Star Plus. In a recent interview, Deepika finally opened up about the comparisons between both the shows.

While talking to Tellybytes, Deepika Singh addressed the parallel storylines between Anupamaa and Mangal Lakshmi. She emphasized, "Bilkul nahi (no way), when I received the scripts, I was very clear that Mangal Lakshmi is not like Anupamaa." She also disclosed that she was well-aware with the storyline of Mangal Lakshmi, spanning up to 100 to 200 episodes, prior to joining the cast.

Expanding on her point, she emphasized that in her view, no two shows can be similar. According to the talented actress, each show is unique because the directors, scriptwriters, and actors bring their own distinct energies to the production.

She highlighted the differences between Mangal Lakshmi and Anupamaa, noting that while hre show focuses on the dynamic between two sisters, her character's relationship with Adit is just a small aspect. In contrast, Anupamaa is a large-scale production that has garnered immense love from its audience.

She mentioned that her mother-in-law is a big fan of Rajan Shahi's show, and she would be grateful if Mangal Lakshmi could receive the same level of love and appreciation as Anupamaa, starring Rupali alongside Gaurav Khanna.
