Rohit Chandel Exclusive: Actor Rohit Chandel, who made his TV debut with a small role in Har Mushkil Ka Hal Akbar Birbal (2014), is now counted among the most-loved actors on the Indian Television thanks to his role in Pandya Store. Produced by Sphere Origins, the Star Plus show featured Rohit Chandel as the main lead, Dhawal, alongside Priyanshi Yadav.

While Rohit Chandel is also known for his stints in Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, Kashibai Bajirao Ballal, and Escaype Live (Disney Plus Hotstar series), it won't be wrong to say that Pandya Store made him a household name as Dhawal. After a good run of three years, the much-loved show went off-air leaving the loyal fanbase heartbroken.

It's been a month since Pandya Store ended and fans are still missing the show and its cast members, including Rohit Chandel. In an exclusive chat with Filmibeat, the talented actor opened up about his life post Pandya Store and what is keeping him busy these days.

Talking about the same, Rohit Chandel told us, "Life after Pandya Store is really nice and beautiful. Pandya Store viewers are really very loyal because I thought they'd stop loving and showering love. But, it's not the case, they still love me the same way they used to love me earlier. Aur aap kya chahte ho zindagi mei, aap yahi chahte ho ki unconditional love ho aapse pyaar karne waalon ka. I'm very happy."

On being asked what is keeping him busy these days, the TV star added, "When I don't have work, I work on myself. So, working on myself is keeping me busy these days. I'm working on my craft, I'm trying to become a better actor every day."

ROHIT CHANDEL HOPES TO RETURN WITH A GOOD PROJECT SOON

Well, the actor owns a big fan-following who are desperately waiting to see him back on-screen again. Talking about the offers he's getting after Pandya Store, the actor cleared that he's choosy about his projects and is hopeful to return with something 'good' soon.

Rohit stated, "Obviously, there were so many offers after Pandya Store. The day they (other producers) came to know Pandya Store was getting over, they immediately started contacting me. But, obviously, I've made that position where I can be choosy about the projects and the characters I want to play. Also, budget matters sometimes. So, ye saari cheezein consider karte hue, I'm a little bit choosy and soon, I'll be coming up with a good project. So, let's hope for the best."
