In an interview with Telly Masala, she addressed these speculations, expressing her excitement about the possibility. She said, "Bikul! I mean, ye bahut hi kamaal ki baat hogi. Rajan Sir, DKP to mere liye matlab family jaise hai (of course! If this happens, it would be so great. Rajan sir, and DKP is like family to me)."

The rumors began when Rajan Shahi posted a picture of Mohsin and Shivangi together on social media. Shivangi responded by saying, "Jab hoga to apko pata chal jayega (Whenever it happens, you all will get to know).," but clarified that she was not aware of any such project at the moment.

Regarding her television comeback, Shivangi mentioned that she is currently working on a web series and would consider new TV projects if they are appealing.
