However, the show encountered unexpected turbulence a few months ago when Shehzada, along with Pratiksha Honmukhe, was reportedly let go from the long-standing series by producer Rajan Shahi, citing reasons of unprofessional behavior.

Since then, Shehzada Dhami has largely kept a low profile and has refrained from addressing the situation publicly. Recently, he made a public appearance at the International Iconic Awards 2024 where he even engaged with the media and refused to discuss his departure from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

Interestingly, the long-running show's producer Rajan Shahi also attended the event as he received an award for his production venture Anupamaa, starring Rupali Ganguly in the lead role. And guess what, Shehzada Dhami posted a cryptic note after attending the awards function.
