However, a recent development has shocked everyone: Shehzada Dhami, the male lead, along with Pratiksha Honmukhe, was unexpectedly removed from the show by producer Rajan Shahi due to unprofessional behavior.

Months after her exit from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Pratiksha Honmukhe aka Ruho broke her silence for the first time in a recent interview and dismissed any romantic involvement with her YRKKH co-star. Yes, you read that right!

Clearing that Shehzada Dhami is just a good friend of her, Pratiksha told Times Now, "Nahi hum toh ek dusre ko date kar hi nahi rahe the. We are still good friends aur hamesha good friends hi rahenge. I don't know logon ne yeh kya soch liya. Just because woh mera pehla show tha toh wahan par jo sabse pehle mera dost bana tha woh Shehzada hi tha."

She added, "So the way, he helped me, the way he was with me, uss wajah se humari ek bond ban gayi thi. Aap kisi ke saath jyada comfortable ho toh woh bond ban jati hai, iska matlab yeh nahi hai ki aap uske saath ho. So main yahi kehna chahungi ki hum dost the aur dost hai. Iske alawa aur kuch bhi nahi hai."

PRATIKSHA HONMUKHE ENTERS KAISE MUJHE TUM MIL GAYE

While Garvita Sadhwani is now playing Ruhi in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Pratiksha has also moved on and has bagged ZEE TV's Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye. Starring Sriti Jha and Arjit Taneja in the lead roles, the actress is set to play Virat's ex-wife Priyanka in the much-loved show.
