Bhayya

Despite being a Telugite, Vishal debuted in Tamil films. His films like Bharani, Pandemkodi, Pogaru  were dubbed into Telugu and became hits in Andhra Pradesh. The latest among these are 'Bhayya'. Though the film was produced and dubbed into Telugu simultaneously along with its Tamil original Malaikottai, the Telugu version was postponed a week due to some technical difficulties.
 
The Tamil version got a very good opening boosting the confidence of its producer and director that the Telugu version will also be a hit. However, the film opened with an above average success after release. Director Bhoopathy Pandiyan succeeded in making of the film a good comedy in the first half and in making the film a commercial entertainer.
 
Jagan (Vishal) is an angry young man. He will do anything to make his friends and family happy. Once his friend gets harassed by a local MLA, Jagan deals with and teached them a lesson. The MLAs' men then file a case against Jagan who applies for conditional bail. As per the court order, Jagan has to sign in a register at a police station everyday. While he was on his way to the police station, Jagan finds Malathi (Priyamani) and falls in love with her.
