Dasara Story

Dasara is a period-action drama movie written and directed by Srikanth Odela. The movie casts Natural Star Nani and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles along with Samuthirakani, Dheekshith Shetty, Shine Tom Chacko, Sai Kumar, Shamna Kasim, Sajol Chowdhury, and many others seen in supporting roles. The music was composed by Santhosh Narayan while the cinematography was done by Sathyam Sooryan ISC and it is edited by Navin Nooli. The film is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner.

Dharani (Nani), Surya (Dixit Shetty), and Vennela (Keerthi Suresh) are close friends, who are swaying under the influence of alcohol in Veerlapalli, a town in Karimnagar district. The love of Dharani for Surya, which is greater than his own life, is so strong that he kills his love for Vennela for the sake of friendship and sacrifices himself for his friend. There is a dispute between the Panchayat Sarpanch of Veerlapalli, Chinna Nambi (Chacko), and Rajanna (Saikumar), who has contested for the post of Sarpanch, in Veerlapalli. Due to the politics of the village, Dharani and Surya are attacked.

Dasara title and pre-look poster were released on October 15, 2021, and the first look poster and glimpse spark Of Dasara Teaser was released on March 20th, 2022.

Dasara movie released in theaters on 30 March 2023 in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.

Netflix bagged the digital distribution rights of the Dasara film and started streaming on April 27, 2023.
