Laggam Story

Laggam is a Telugu family drama movie directed by Ramesh Cheppala. The movie casts Sai Ronak Katukuri and Pragya Nagra in the main lead roles along with Rajendra Prasad, Rohini, Raghu Babu, Saptagiri, Chammak Chandra, Raccha Ravi, and many others have seen in supporting roles. The movie songs were composed by Charan Arjun and Mani Sharma scored background music while the cinematography was done by MN Bal Reddy and it is edited by Bonthala Nageswara Reddy. The film is produced by Venu Gopal Reddy under M/s. Subishi Entertainments banner.

Story

Sadanandam, also known as Sada (Rajendra Prasad), wants to marry his daughter Manasa (Pragya Nagra) to his nephew, a software engineer named Chaitanya (Sai Ronak). Chaitanya's parents (Rohini and Srinivas Vadlamani) happily agree to the proposal, thrilled by the union of the two families through this marriage. However, just as the wedding is about to happen, everything comes to a halt.

Why is Manasa reluctant to marry her cousin? What makes Sadanandam so fond of the idea of a software engineer son-in-law? Despite his eagerness for the union, why does Sadanandam himself later try to sabotage the wedding? Meanwhile, why does Chaitanya secretly plot to stop his own marriage? What underlying reluctance is shared by Sada, Manasa, and Chaitanya? The answers to these questions form the heart of Laggam, unfolding a story of unexpected twists on the road to marriage.
