Mangalavaram is an horror comedy movie directed by Ajay Bhupathi. The cast includes Payal Rajput, Nanditha Swetha, Divya Pillai, Azmal, Ravindra Vijay, Krishna Chaitanya, Ajay Gosh, Shravan Reddy, Srithej in the main lead roles. Story

In the village of Lakshmipuram in the Godavari district, deaths occurring every Tuesday (Mangalavaram) due to illegal affairs that were exposed have instilled fear among the villagers. The locals attribute this to the failure of conducting the Ammavari Jatara. During such times, a woman, assumed to be possessed, eliminates everyone in the village with a belief based on superstition. Amidst these circumstances, suspicions arise that there is a hidden secret behind the deaths in the village that came with the arrival of SI Police Inspector (Nanditha Shwetha).

Why are the deaths happening in the village? Why do the people of the village puished Shailaja (Payal Rajput), according to the orders of the landlord? Who supports Shailu in her endeavors? Are the deaths in the village suicides or murders? Why did the deaths occur only on Tuesdays (Mangalavaram)? Who opposes the deaths in the village? The movie explores answers to these questions, unraveling the story behind the deaths in the village every Tuesday.

Magalavaram's first look and character poster of Payal Rajput was released on April 25th, 2023. On October 21st, 2023 the makers released theatrical trailer and the trailer created instantly a good buzz for the film.

Censor and Runtime

Mangalavaram censored with A certificate for his bold content and they locked the run time for 2 Hours and 25 Minutes.

OTT and Satellite Rights

Mangalavaram movie ott rights are bagged by Disney+ Hotstar and it is available from December 26th, 2023 and satellite rights are brought by Star Maa.
