Abhilash Joshiy is the son of the renowned filmmaker Joshiy, a legend in the Malayalam film industry. Following in his father's footsteps, Abhilash has ventured into filmmaking and has made significant strides in his own right.  In 2023, Abhilash Joshiy showcased his directorial prowess with the debut release of 'King Of Kotha.' Featuring Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role, the film hit theaters and made a great impact at the global box office.

He made his directorial debut with the film ''Varane Avashyamund' in 2020, which garnered praise for its engaging storytelling and memorable characters.
