Bheeshmaparvam is Mammootty's highest-grossing film till now. Released in 2022, the film has earned a total of Rs 115 crore at the global box office. Bheeshmaparvam is the first ever Malayalam film to join the 100 crore club after Covid-19. Speaking about its global box office performance, the movie surpassed the box office collection of Dulquer Salamaan's Kurup and placed in the top four positions in the 100 crore club. The reports revealed that the movie earned Rs 36 crore from outside India. Written by Amal Neerad and Devat Shahji. The film was produced by Amal Neerad Productions. Kannur Squad
If reports are to be believed, the investigative thriller movie that broke the box office collection of superstar Mohanlal's 2013 release 'Drishyam'. The total worldwide box office collection of the movie is around Rs 70 crores till now. The film hit the theaters on September 28, 2023 and earned Rs 2 crore from the Indian box office. According to reports, the movie will shortly join the 100 crore club in the upcoming days.
CBI 5: The Brain
This is another movie of Megastar, that raked in the most cash at worldwide box offices. Made on a budget of Rs 15 crore, it earned an impressive Rs 17.7 crore at the overseas box office. CBI 5: The Brain is a crime mystery thriller film directed by K. Madhu and written by S. N. Swamy. Mammootty plays Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) detective Sethurama Iyer in the film, which also has an ensemble cast. This is the fifth film in the CBI series.
Shylock
The film was released on Jan 23, 2022, and opened to tremendous response at all the centres. Mammootty’s tremendous energy, charisma, and quirky mannerisms are loved by the audience. As per the reports, the movie earned Rs 7 crore at the Kerala box office on its opening day. Meanwhile, it earned Rs 13. 8 crore from overseas.
Rorschach
According to reports, the film’s net collection is around Rs 9 crore from its ticket sales in Kerala alone. The film debuted at the box office by collecting more than Rs 2.5 crore in the state. Speaking about its overseas box office performance, the movie earned Rs 16.7 crore. In simple terms, Rorschach is a revenge thriller which makes you more curious and suspenseful while it watching on the screen. Written by Sameer Abdul and directed by Nisam Basheer, Rorschach is one of the best horror psychological thriller movies made in Malayalam cinema. It features Mammootty in the lead with Grace Antony, and Jagadeesh in the prominent roles.
Madura Raja
The movie was released in theaters and got terrific responses from the audience and critics. Prior to Beeshmaparvam, this is Mammootty's first film to gross $100 million worldwide. Madhura Raja is a follow-up to the popular 2010 film Pokkiri Raja, which starred Mammootty and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
