Manju Warrier to Meera Jasmine: Mollywood Actresses Who Made Great Comebacks To Silver Screen

Manju Warrier is one of the most loved and popular actress in Malayalam film industry.  She had started her acting career at the age of 17 and appeared in several super-hit movies in Malayalam. By playing wide variety of roles on-screen, the actress established herself as a successful actress in the industry. Manju is one of the actresses in the Malayalam film industry, who worked along with Malayalam super star actors like Mohanlal, Mammootty, Suresh Gopi and Jayaram.

After marrying actor Dileep in 1998 she stopped acting in movies. Manju who left the industry at at time when she was at the peak of her career. In 2014, she announced her separation with her husband and actor Dileep and and made a stellar comeback with the  Roshan Andrews film 'How Old Are You'. For her stupendous performances in the movie, she has received a Filmfare Award for Best actress. Her comeback to the film industry, made surprise among her fans and followers around us.

The actress who needs no introduction in the Malayalam film industry, is the only one heroine 'Shobhana'.  With her astonishing acting skills and killer dance movements, the actress has grabbed audience attention across the nation. Her performances in the Fazil's classic movie' Manichithrathazhu' had received much appreciation from audience as well as critics. Nayanthara is one of the popul and richest actress in the South Indian film industry. Stepped into the showbiz as an Tv anchor and later made her debut in Malayalam with 'Manasinakkare'opposite actor Jayaram. Directed by veteran director Sathyan Antthikkad, the film was a super hit at the box-office. Later she acted in few films in Malayalam and  and moved to Tamil industry. Her performances in the movie like Ghajini,  Villu, and Billa,  rosed her stardom in the Tamil cinema.

After a long time wait, actress returned to Malayalam cinema with 'Bodyguard' in 2010. Helmed by Siddique, the film marked first collaboration of Nayanthara  with actor Dileep. Billed as a rom-com drama, the film broke several  box-office records of several super hit movies in Malayalam. After that, she was last seen in Nivin Pauly's Love Action Drama and Alphonse Puthran's Gold.

No one can't forget that innocent girl 'Balamani' in the movie 'Nandanam'. Being an actress Navya Nair is best known  for her silent and innocent portrayals on -screen. Her performances in the movie 'Nandanam', had gained the attention of audience across the state and received a Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress in 2022. Later, she appeared  in lead roles in the films Kanne Madanguka and Saira, got much appreciation. After marriage, the actress took break and returned to the industry in 2022 with ‘Oruthee’. Directed by V.K.Prakash, actress Navya Nair who appeared in a titular role in the movie.

After fighting for justice, actress Bhavana who keep distance from the industry for a long time. Later, the actress who made a great comeback to the industry after a six-year gap with Malayalam film ‘Ntikkakkakkoru  Premandarnnu’. The film was directed by debutant Aadhil Mymoonath Ashraf, it featured actors Bhavana and Sharaf U Dheen in the main roles. 

Meera Jasmine who made a stellar comeback to the industry in the filmmaker Sathyan Anthikad's latest film 'Makal'. The film was hit the theaters in 2022, had received mixed responses from the audience. Apart from this she will seen in  the upcoming Tamil movie 'Vimanam'.
