Popular kannada Actors Who Died in 2021

One of the tragic chapters of Kannada cinema is the untimely demise of Puneeth Rajkumar, the son of Dr. Rajkumar's yongest son, who won a national award as a child actor and later earned millions of fans form his performance with his acting, dancing and action scenes. On October 29, 2021 he had Cardiac arrest and passed away. Appu's funeral was attended by a record number of people till date. 

Sanchari Vijay who won the National Award for his role in the film ''Naanu Avanalla Avalu'', was experimenting many unique roles. Sanchari Vijay met with accident on June 12, 2021 at Bengaluru and he had admitted to Apollo hospital in Bannerghatta Road. On June 15, 2021 Vijay died due to heavy brain damage and went to coma, he did not respond to the treatment and Vijay family has donated his organs after his death.

Jayanthi is best known for her roles in Kannada cinema. She has acted in more than five languages including Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi and Marathi. She has co-starred in over 40 films with Dr. Rajkumar. She died on July 26, 2021 due to age-related disease.

Producer Ramu, also known as Koti Ramu, made films in Kannada cinema, which cost millions of rupees. He has produced super hit films like AK 47, Lockup Death, Circle Inspector, Chamundi, Kalasipalya. On April 26, 2021, Ramu was diagnosed with Covid 19 infections with breathing problem.

Syed Nizamuddin popularly Known as Satyajit, is famous for his role as a villain and supporting actor in Kannada films. He was a bus driver before coming into cinema. Satyajit, who suffers from diabetes and gangrene, died on October 10, 2021 from age-related ailments.

Shivaram was involved in a accident where he was had severe brain injuries from the accident and was operated on at the Prashanth hospital in the city. Due to age factor he could not respond to the medical treatment so on December 4th, 2021 he passed away.
