Ringmaster is a comedy drama, directed by Rafi of Rafi-Mecartin team. This is Rafi's debut movie as an independent filmmaker after splitting company with Mecartin, with whom he had collaborated on a number of successful comedies, including Puthukottyile Puthu Manavalan, Superman, and Punjabi House. The comedy-drama, which featured Dileep and Keerthi Suresh in the lead roles, was written and directed by Rafi. Released in theaters in 2014  and it garnered mixed reviews.

The Malayalam action-comedy China Town was released in 2011 under the direction of the renowned screenwriter-director duo Rafi Mecartin. Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, the action-comedy was a huge success at the box office and went on to become the second highest-grossing film of that year. Big stars in the industry like Mohanlal, Jayaram, Dileep, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Kavya Madhavan essayed the lead roles in the movie.

Released in 1998, the movie has taken the box office by storm. Directed by duo Rafi-Mecartin romantic comedy drama showcases a powerhouse performance by Dileep, with impressive support from co-stars Hari Sree Ashokan and Cochin Haneefa. Punjabi House is one of the classic and superhit movies ever made in Malayalam which carries a lot of standard comedy elements. A decade later, Priyadarshan officially remade the film in Hindi under the title "Chup Chup Ke,which was also a huge hit on B-town.

The movie opened in theaters and reportedly made Rs 20 crore at the box office. Directed by the duo  Rafi-Mecartin, the film featured  Suresh Gopi, Lal, Dileep, Geetu Mohandas and Samyukta Varma in the significant roles. Produced by actor Lal, 'Thenkasippattanam' is one of the best rom-com ever made in Malayalam. Actor Dileep received high accolades for his comedic brilliance in the movie.

A comedy drama, directed by Rafi-Mecartin, 'Pandippada' starred Dileep and Praksah Raj in  lead roles, while Navya Nair appeared in the female lead role. The film hit the theaters in 2005 and turned out to be a blockbuster hit at the box office.
