Star Plus has lauched the promo of a new show titled Baatein Ankahee, which will star Mohit Malik in a lead role. It will focus on the love story and ask an important question- 'Is age a barrier for love and life?'

Back in 2004, a private video of Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor kissing had gone viral and it made headlines across the country. After a long time, Shahid finally reacted to the incident and told Mid-Day, "I was destroyed at that time. I was just a 24-year-old kid and I felt my privacy had been invaded and I could do nothing to protect it. Actor Shahid Kapoor addressed the criticism surrounding his 2017 blockbuster movie Kabir Singh, which was alleged to glorify the titular character’s abusive love relationship with the female character Preeti, played by Kiara Advani. Speaking to Mid-Day in an interview, Shahid said that he personally understands the criticism of love being equated to physical abuse in the film, because he has himself been a victim of physical abuse in his childhood. Adding that everyone deserves a second chance in love, the actor said, "I've seen physical abuse as a child. I understand what you're talking about. But it was just a dysfunctional love story between a very simple girl and a very talented, brilliant, aggressive, disturbed guy. And stuff like that happens on a day-today basis."

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s romantic film Satyaprem Ki Katha saw a massive drop in its collection on day 9. The film on July 7 earned Rs 2.70 cr taking its total collection to Rs 55.91 crore. As per reports, it had an overall occupancy of 12.14%.

American singer Taylor Swift released her new music video from her Speak Now (Taylor's Version) album, titled I Can See You. The song is from one of the four new ones from The Vault’. The song features Swift’s ex-boyfriend, Twilight actor Taylor Lautner. The video is directed and written by Taylor herself.

Akshay Kumar's upcoming OMG2 teaser will be digitally launched on July 10. The same teaser is said to be attached to Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 1’s prints across the nation, according to Pinkvilla. It quoted a source as saying, "Akshay Kumar and team are ready to start the campaign of their August 11, 2023 release, Oh My God 2 with a teaser launch. While a digital launch will mostly take place on July 10, the same teaser will be attached to the prints of Mission Impossible 7 across the country from July 12. The teaser has been certified ‘U’ with a runtime of 1 minute 34 seconds."
