During
the
promotional
event
for
the
much
anticipated
and
forthcoming
Transformers:
The
Last
Knight,
Michael
Bay,
the
director
of
the
movie
stated
the
reason
as
to
why
he
would
not
like
to
take
up
any
Marvel
superhero
sequels.
The
51-year-old
film-maker,
who
is
yet
to
dip
his
toe
in
the
genre
of
superhero
movies,
said
that
he
had
not
tried
his
hands
at
that
particular
genre.
However,
he
liked
the
genre
and
think
there
is
much
scope
left
to
bring
creativity
into
this.
"I
don't
ever
wanna
take
someone
like
a
third
of
something
or
second
of
something.
I
gotta
do
my
own
thing," said
Michael
Bay.
"...you
talk
to
Ridley
Scott,
one
our
favorite
things
to
do
is
to
create
the
world.
Steven
Spielberg,
create
the
world.
That
is
what
it's
about.
If
I
were
to
do
something
I
would
have
to
redo
it
my
way," Bay
added.
The
celebrated
director
also
said
that
directing
a
sequel
in
Marvel
movies
may
fall
beneath
his
talent;
however,
he
is
a
great
fan
of
the
Marvel
movies.
"I
really
liked
Civil
War.
I
like
a
lot
of
the
Marvel
movies," Bay
told
the
journalists
on
a
movie
set,
"When
I
saw
Iron
Man,
it
broke
a
lot
of
new
ground
for
me,
and
it
was
a
great
character.
Funny,
witty,
I
liked
that
about
it."
The
director
said.
