years
of
Indian
Cinema
Celebration,
which
is
taking
place
in
Chennai
was
graced
by
celebrities
of
South
Indian
film
industry
Kannada,
Telugu,
Tamil
and
Malayalam.
The
four
days
event
was
inaugurated
by
Tamil
Nadu
Chief
Minister
J
Jayalalithaa
on
Saturday,
September
21.
The
Kannada
industry
was
represented
by
the
famous
veteran
actors
like
Srinath,
B
Saroja
Devi,
Jayanthi,
Bharathi
Vishnuvardhan,
Jayamala,
Shivaram,
Umashree
and
others.
The
new
talents
like
Roopika,
Rishika
Singh,
Sanjjanna,
Amoolya,
Soundarya
and
others
gave
a
dance
performance
at
the
event.
It
is
said
that
the
Kannada
audience
were
disappointed
to
see
the
dance
performances
by
the
new
comers
or
by
the
artists
who
are
in
the
verge
of
retirement
and
not
by
other
popular
Sandalwood
stars.
Among
popular
one's,
it
was
only
Ramesh
Aravind
and
Vijay
Raghavendra,
who
performed
on
this
occasion.
Initially,
Kannada
stars
like
Shivaraj
Kumar,
Puneet
Rajkumar,
Darshan,
Upendra
and
Duniya
Vijay
had
confirmed
their
presence
in
the
program.
This
became
a
big
time
disappointment
for
the
audience,
who
were
eagerly
waiting
to
see
all
the
stars
together
under
single
roof.
Reportedly,
it
is
said
that
the
top

of
Kannada
film
industry
are
expected
to
attend
the
valedictory
function
of
100
years
of
Indian
Cinema
Celebration,
which
will
be
held
today,
in
Nandan

to

the
event
with

his
industry
colleagues.

he
missed
it.
Duniya
Vijay
Vijay

seen
in

these

wrapping

miss
