film
has
opened

reviews
and
good
word
of
mouth
from
the
audience.
Whistle,
which
was
released
on
July
5,
is
a
remake
of
Tamil
hit
movie
Pizza.
The
Kannada
movie
is
reportedly
made
with
the
budget
of
Rs
3
crores,
and
the
film
is
on
its
way
to
recover
the
production
cost
by
this
weekend.
According
to
director
Prashant
Raj,
Whistle
has
earned
Rs
1.43
crores
in
the
first
three
days.
On
the
opening
day,
the
film
collected
Rs
37
lakhs
at
Kannada
Box
Office.
It
is
getting
good
response
not
only
in
Bangalore,
but
also
in
Hubli
and
Tumkur
regions.
The
film
was
also
simultaneously
released
in
Mumbai,
Chennai
and
Pune
where
it
has
made
decent
business.
The
director
adds
that
Whistle
is
getting
around
70%
occupancy
in
the
majority
of
theatres.
With
this
rate,
the
producer
would
be
getting
profits
by
next
week.
