Naanu Mattu Varalakshmi, which is said to be India's first bike racing/motocross film, is scheduled to hit screens on November 18, throughout the state. Jayanna Films is releasing the film in Karnataka.
The film marks the debut of Prithvi, grandson of the legendary music director GK Venkatesh. Manjunath, Prithvi's father is bankrolling the film under Kollur Mookambika Creations in association with Jayanna Films, who will be facilitating the theatrical release.
Harikrishna was the one who kick-started the project, he took the initiative of launching his nephew Prithvi as hero. He approached his friend and director Preetham to direct the film.
Preetham Gubbi has also penned the story and screenplay for this film. Preetham's previous release Boxer, was a disaster at box office and he is betting big on this project.
The film has fantastic star cast in form of Prakash Raj, Madhubala, Charan Deep, Rangayana Raghu playing important roles. Malayali beauty Malavika Mohan makes her debut into Kannada film industry through this flick.
As always, Preetham has a fantastic technical team supporting him. Preetha is the director of photography, Harikrishna is the music director, Jo Ni Harsha is the editor and Ravi Verma is the action choreographer.
The film has a real motocross race in the climax and featured hero Prithvi and baddie Charan Deep. For this, Prithvi and Charan Deep practised months together under the supervision of experts.
Once can expect of high voltage action scenes, breathtaking stunt sequences and icing on the cake would be the real motocross race in the climax. Surely, we are in for a superb entertainer on November 18.
