What Is Special About Double Barrel?

Double Barrel, the upcoming multi-starrer directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery will hit the theatres soon. The movie will have Prithviraj, Tamil actor Arya, Indrajith, Asif Ali and Sunny Wayne in the lead roles.

Interestingly, the main characters of Double Barrel are named after the most popular cartoon characters, from the various famous cartoon series. Sources states that the crew has decided to name the characters differently, to attract the young audience.

As per the reports, Double Barrel will be a completely new experience for the Malayali audience. The bid budget project, which has filmed at entirely new locations, is expected to be an exceptional visual treat.

Reports suggest that, the crew is planning to release the Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions of the movie, immediately after the Malayalam release. More details regarding the same, will be revealed soon.

Parvathy, Swathi Reddy, Isha Sharvani, Pearle Maaney and Rachana Narayankutty will essay the female leads. Reportedly, Double Barrel is the biggest ever multi-starrer flick, in the history of Malayalam cinema.

Prashanth Pillai composes the music and Abhinandan Ramanujam handles the cinematography. Double Barrel is produced Prithviraj, Santhosh Sivan, Shaji Nadesan and Lijo Jose Pellissery, under the banners August Cinema and Amen Movie Monastery.
