Dipika Kakar On Premature Delivery: Sasural Simar Ka actress Dipika Kakar and her actor-husband Shoaib Ibrahim joyfully welcomed their first child, a son, on June 21, 2023. However, their little one arrived prematurely, requiring him to be admitted to the NICU ward. The actress gave birth to the little munchkin just a day after Shoaib's birthday.
Currently, at the hospital, Dipika Kakar shared her emotional journey leading up to the birth of her baby boy in her latest vlog. She recalled her initial fear and anxiety due to the premature birth.
DIPIKA KAKAR RECALLS HER PRE-DELIVERY EXPERIENCE
In the video shared by Dipika from her hospital room, she revealed that her water broke around 2 am after returning home from Shoaib's birthday celebration. Though it was unexpected, Dipika realized the urgency and rushed to the hospital as she felt her water gushing out.
Alarmed by the unusual circumstances, Dipika noticed a pinkish color on her dress and bedsheet, further adding to her concern. She immediately urged Shoaib to call the doctor. The actress stated, "I quickly went to the washroom. And I just checked. Wipe kiya toh, uss tissue pe, thoda thoda aise na, do-teen strands of bloods jaise hote hai na. Wo mujhe dikha. Wo dekh ke mai numb ho gayi, blank ho gayi thi ki ye kya hai. Toh mai ghabra gayi thi uss waqt."
Around 3 am, the couple hurried to the hospital, and Dipika anxiously implored her baby to show movement. When the baby responded with a slight movement, she found solace and gradually regained composure.
DIPIKA KAKAR STILL AT HOSPITAL WITH HER NEWBORN BABY
Dipika revealed that Shoaib was present in the operating theater during the delivery, making it the most priceless moment of their lives. She decided to remain at the hospital even after delivery, as their baby was still in the NICU. Dipika cherished the opportunity to stay close to him during this critical time.
In the hospital, Dipika, Shoaib, and their family celebrated Eid, marking a special occasion amidst the ongoing medical care for both the actress and their newborn.
On Eid, Dipika received a precious gift from the doctors. They advised her to initiate the kangaroo touch method, which involves holding the baby close for skin-to-skin contact. This technique further helps in strengthening a mother's bond with her little one.
