Venkatesh
and
Trisha
Krishnan's
underrated
movie
Bodyguard
has
fared
well
at
the
Telugu
Box
Office.
The
movie,
which
faced
a
tough
competition
from
Mahesh
Babu's
Businessman,
managed
to
make
decent
business
in
its
first
weekend.
Bodyguard,
which
is
a
remake
of
Malayalam
blockbuster
film
of
the
same
name,
has
been
grandly
welcomed
by
Venkatesh's
fans.
Though,
it
was
not
hyped
like
Mahesh
Babu's
Businessman,
the
film
managed
to
pull
the
crowd
to
the
theatres.
Trade
reports
say
that
on
the
opening
day,
in
most
of
the
theatres
in
Hyderabad
Bodyguard
almost
ran
into
packed
houses.
An
average
of
80%
occupancy
has
been
recorded
whereas
in
other
parts
of
Andhra
Pradesh,
the
movie
reportedly
witnessed
65-70%
occupancy.
The
makers
of
the
film
are
confident
of
earning
back
the
investment
in
a
week's
time.
Bodyguard
business
is
expected
to
gradually
increase
in
the
coming
days.
However,
Bodyguard
is
directed
by
Gopichand
Malineni
and
produced
by
Bellamkonda
Suresh.
The
movie
also
features
Saloni
Aswani
and
Prakash
Raj
in
the
important
roles.
