SS Rajamouli raves Nagarjuna's performance in Shirdi Sai

Director SS Rajamouli has taken a break from his filmy activities and enjoying his leisurely hours by watching new movies. After the movie Sudigadu, the blockbuster Eega maker watched director K Raghavendra Rao's Shirdi Sai and couldn't stop raving Akkineni Nagarjuna's performance as Sai Baba.

The much-awaited movie Shirdi Sai has released in theatres across the globe on September 6 and SS Rajamouli watched the film at Prasads in Hyderabad on the same day afternoon. Soon after he came out of the cinema hall, the director took to his Twitter page to share his excitement about Nagarjuna's acting.

SS Rajamouli tweeted, "One of the best examples of an actor transforming COMPLETELY into the role. Hats off to nagarjuna garu as SaiBaba. For me it is as good as Ben kingsley transforming into Gandhi and Peddayana transforming into SriKrishna. I think Nag is destined for much much more. Proud&Respect!! (sic)"

It should be recalled here that Nagarjuna had also praised SS Rajamouli to sky high after watching his recent release Eega. The King had tweeted, "Now I know what SS Rajamouli stands for, it stands for Sure Shot Rajamouli. Now with EEGA he's become an icon for the telugu film industry!!"

However, the movie Shirdi Sai has received positive reviews from the film critics. Besides Nagarjuna's amazing performance, the film also boasts of Raghavendra Rao's wonderful script and direction, MM Keeravani's music and Gopal Reddy's picturiation. The movie has received superb response from audience on the first day.
