Venkatesh, who basking in success of the grand opening of his latest outing Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (SVSC), has now moved on to release his next movie Shadow, which has been creating positive buzz ever since it was announced. Venky's next outing, which was postponed from its Sankranthi release, would clash with Junior NTR's much-hyped movie Baadshah at Box Office this summer.
Venkatesh's Shadow, which is directed by Meher Ramesh, is a romantic action entertainer. Made with a whopping budget, Venky's looks in the film have created a lot of curiosity among the film goers. Taapsee Pannu is playing the female lead alongside Venkatesh in the movie Shadow, which has the music of SS Thaman.
Earlier, the movie was slated to release during Sankrathi, but it was postponed to avoid its clash with Venkatesh's another release Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. Now, Meher Ramesh has confirmed its release date. On his Twitter page, the director tweeted, "Victory venkatesh "Shadow" releasing April 5th.wishes n blessings needed."
Junior NTR's most-awaited film Baadshah, which is directed by Srinu Vytla, is also releasing on the same date (April 5). Kajal Aggarwal is playing the female lead in the film, which also has the music of SS Thaman. Billed as an action-entertainer, the film is in the last leg of shooting, which has begun today. The film unit is going to shoot some important scenes on the lead pair in the final schedule
Interestingly, the audio albums of both Shadow and Baadshah are schedule to release in the market in March. Trade experts feel that the success or failure of their music will have a hand in deciding the fate of their movies. The photos and videos of both films have created a lot of expectations among the viewers.
However, Venkatesh's latest release Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu also opened with Ram Charan Teja's much-anticipated movie Naayak this Sankranthi festival and proved successful at the Box Office. Now, it should be seen whether his upcoming release Shadow will be able to beat Baadshah at the Box Office.
