Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh Story

Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh is an Indian Bollywood historical biographical drama written and directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. The movie stars Deepak Antani and Chinmay Mandlekar in the lead roles, along with Pawan Chopra, Arif Zakaria, and many others in supporting roles. In this film, Deepak Antani portrays the character of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi with Chinmay Mandlekar as Nathuram Godse.

A. R. Rahman composed the music and the background score for this film, and the cinematography was handled by Rishi Punjabi. Bavna Murkatiwala designed and maintained the cast's costumes for this film. Manila Santoshi produced this film, "Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh," under the banners of Santoshi Productions LLP and PVR Pictures. Reliance Big Entertainment distributes this film in limited theatrical releases.

Plotline

According to a statement issued, Gandhi Godse-Ek Yudh portrays the conflict between Mahatma Gandhi and Nathuram Godse's two diametrically opposed ideologies. This historical biopic drama promises to bring history back to our lives.

Gandhi and Godse both had supporters in India; thus, the script writers were extremely careful with how the figures were presented. Phata Poster Nikla Hero, starring Shahid Kapoor, was Santoshi's last movie, launched in 2013. He returned to the Bollywood industry a decade later.

Release

On January 26, 2023, the movie Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh is expected to premiere in theatres in honour of Republic Day.
