Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan Biography

Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan is an Indian film and television actor, who has worked predominantly in the Tamil movie industry. Ashwin has worked in popular movies like Adithya Varma, OK Kanmani, July Kaatril. He played the lead roles in serials Rettai Vaal Kuruvi and Ninaikka Therintha Manamae. He becomes famous after contesting in Star Vijay's reality program Cooku with Comali 2.

Television and Web series

Ashwin made his television debut on the Star Vijay serial, 'Office' along with Karthik. He then entered Telugu television through the Star Maa serial, Raja Rani (a remake of hit Tamil serial Saravanan Meenatchi). Ashwin played the role of Aravind in the Star Vijay serial, Ninaika Therintha Manamae. He becomes famous after contesting in Star Vijay's reality program Cooku with Comali season 2.

He had a lead role in Thanthu Vitten Ennai, a web series produced by Zee5. He is also part of the multilingual, horror-thriller web series Live Telecast directed by Venkat Prabhu for Disney plus Hotstar.

He played the read role in the music video Kutty Pattas for Sony Music, which becomes viral on social media. He also did few short films Kadhal Ondru Kanden, Cindrella, Blink, and 3 scenes of Love story

Movies

Ashwin debuted in movies with Mani Ratnam's O Kadhal Kanmani as a colleague of Dulquer Salmaan's character. He signed to play the lead role under debutante Hariharan's direction for Trident Arts production along with Cooku with Comali Star Pugazh.
