Joeanna was born in Princeton, New Jersey. At the age of sixteen, she moved to New York City where she began work as a model. After finding success in New York, she travelled to Milan and Humburg to live and work there. She moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting at the age of nineteen. Soon after arriving in Los Angeles, she landed roles on the TV show Friends and Bram and Alice. In 2004, she was cast in the ABC pilot Naked Hotel starring John Corbett. She was last seen in the feature film A Lot Like Love, opposite Ashton Kutcher. Joeanna attended Lawrence High School and she modeled for Wilhelmina Models in New York.
