Kalabhavan Haneef is an Indian comedian and actor who primarily works in the Malayalam film and television industry. He is best known for his comedian roles in movies like Ee Parakkum Thalika, Pandippada, Thuruppugulan, and Ustad Hotel.

Career Life

Born in Kerala, India, Kalabhavan Haneef gained popularity by associating with the renowned Kalabhavan comedy troupe. He has been a part of numerous stage shows, television programs, and films, earning acclaim for his humorous roles at the initial stage of his career. Haneef has become a beloved character in the comedy industry thanks to his distinct style and capacity for audience connection.

After establishing himself as a mimicry artist, he ventured into the film industry. Haneef made his film debut as an actor in a comedy movie 'Cheppu Kilukkunna Changhathi' directed by Kaladharan.

Talking about his contributions to the Malayalam film industry are notable, Haneef's work extends beyond the silver screen. He has entertained audiences with his live performances, bringing laughter to people of all ages. Haneef who acted in over 100 films was predominantly known for his comic roles. He was part of Jude Anthany Joseph's '2018- Everyone Is a Hero' -- India's official entry to the Oscars.

Death

Actor Kalabhavan Haneef, who had been undergoing treatment for respiratory problems at a private hospital in Kochi, Kerala, passed away on November 9, 2023.
