MS Thripunithura (1942-2006) was a famous actor in the Malayalam film industry. He was born as Madathipparambil Seshaniyyar Venkitraman Iyer to an Iyer family in Thripunithura, Kerala.
MS Thripunithura acted in over 200 Malayalam films including hit films 'Oru minnaminuginte nurunguvattom', 'Perunthachan', 'His Highness Abdullah', 'Sandhwanam', 'Bharatham' and 'Yodha'. His first Malayalm film was 'Kadalamma'. He also won the Kerala State Best Actor Award for his role in 'Mochanam'.
He also a Carnatic musician and had interests in Sanskrit and astrology. MS was also interested in cooking, which he developed from his grandfather, Veeraraghava Iyer, who was the cook for the Maharajah of Cochin.
