Madhampatty Rangaraj is a multifaceted Indian personality known for his prowess as a chef, actor, and entrepreneur. He serves as the CEO of Madhampatty Thangavelu Hospitality Pvt Ltd, a renowned catering company operating in Tamil Nadu and its neighboring regions. Cooking Career Rangaraj's journey into the culinary world stemmed from his passion for animation, leading him to pursue engineering initially. However, his love for food eventually drew him into the gastronomy industry. In 2002, he assumed control of his family's businesses alongside his brother. Transitioning to Bangalore, he ventured into the restaurant business by establishing a mess. Upon returning to Madhampatty, he began catering for various small-scale functions. Over time, Rangaraj expanded his culinary horizons by providing meals to film crews, earning recognition for his delicious offerings. Notably, he has catered for numerous weddings, including that of actor Karthi. His culinary expertise also extended to large-scale events like the 2013 Coimbatore Marathon. Rangaraj's innovative flair led to the creation of the popular green guava chutney recipe. Acting Career Parallel to his culinary endeavors, Rangaraj ventured into acting, making his debut in the romantic drama " Mehandi Circus " (2019). His portrayal in the film earned acclaim, with critics acknowledging his seamless transition from chef to lead actor. Subsequently, he starred in the Tamil thriller " Penguin " (2020), securing the role after director Eshvar Karthic noticed his performance in "Mehandi Circus." Rangaraj's acting journey continues with his involvement in " Casino ," marking the directorial debut of Mark Joel, with filming commencing in November 2020.
