Mathew Thomas Biography

Mathew Thomas is an Indian actor who works in the Malayalam film industry. He made his acting debut in the 2019 film Kumbalangi Nights and best known best known for his notable performances in the movies like Thanneer Mathan Dinangal, Jo and Jo and One.

Personal Life

Mathew Thomas was born on 16 October 2002 in Thiruvankulam, Kerala to Biju John and Susan K Mathew. After completing schooling from  Gregorian Public school, Maradu in Kochi later he earned a Bachelor Degree from Chinmaya College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, Tripunithura.

Career Life

In 2019, Thomas made his acting debut with a supporting role in the film  Kumbalangi Nights. After arranging several auditions, the director Madhu C. Narayanan, found Thomas at his school. Written by Shyam Pushkaran, the film 'Kumbalangi Nights' was well-recieved by critics and audiences. After the success of his debut film, he played a lead role in a  rom-com drama ' Thanneer Mathan Dinangal '. Budgeted at Rs 2 crore, the film has collected  Rs 45 crore at the box office. He then appeared in a guest role in  film  Anjaam Pathiraa. Released in 2020, the film became superhit at the box office.  He was last seen in One along with Ishaani Krishna. The actor will make his acting debut in Tamil cinema alongside Super star Vijay in the film 'Thalapathy 67'.
