Mohan Raja is a director, screen writer in Tollywood and Kollywood, the Indian-based film industry. His father, Mohan, is a veteran producer who started his career in films as an Editor. He is hence popularly known as Editor Mohan. After making his debut with the Telugu movie Hanuman Junction (2001), he went on to remake several successful Telugu movies into Tamil, beginning with Jayam (2003) which also launched his brother Ravi as a leading actor. He came up with his original script, Thani Oruvan (2015) which went on to become one of the most profitable Tamil movies of 2015. Raja also acted in the lead in Enna Satham Indha Neram (2014).
