Pooja Lokesh was born and brought-up in Bangalore. she has an younger brother, Srujan Lokesh is also a film actor and TV Host in Kannada. Pooja is a classical dancer and has performed in many reality shows. She acted in movies like Yuddha, Magic Ajji, Ulta Palta and Huliya.

Pooja Lokesh became famous after acting in Tamil serials like Selvi, Kungumam, Mundhanai Mudichu, Mahabarath, Kalki and Geetanjali.
