Biography

Santosh Kumar RS is an Indian film writer, director, and passionate filmmaker known for his diverse work in cinema and music. With a strong vision for storytelling, he has contributed significantly to the Kannada film industry and has also ventured into multilingual projects, showcasing his versatility and creativity. He began his filmmaking career with the Kannada movie Students in 2017, followed by Bindaas Googly in 2018, both of which received commercial recognition. In 2023, he directed Campus Kranthi, a theatrical release that further cemented his reputation as a filmmaker capable of blending strong narratives with engaging entertainment. Apart from feature films, Santosh Kumar RS has made his mark in the music industry by directing 15 music videos across multiple languages. These include 5 Hindi music videos, 1 Punjabi song, and 9 Kannada-language videos, all of which were released on reputed and well-known South Indian music channels. His music videos have been appreciated for their visual storytelling and engaging presentation, adding another dimension to his creative portfolio. Currently, Santosh Kumar RS is working on his most ambitious project yet, the PAN-India film Yuvan Robinhood . Written, directed, and produced by him under the Passion Movie Makers banner, the movie is a trilingual action thriller set to release in January 2026 simultaneously in Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi. With Yuvan Robinhood, Santosh Kumar RS aims to bring a socially charged, larger-than-life cinematic experience to audiences across India, marking a significant milestone in his career.
