Early Career & Background
TG Vishwa Prasad originally worked as an NRI software engineer before transitioning into the film industry. His tech-savvy beginnings led him to establish his own company, which later evolved into the production house People Media Factory, marking his bold entry into cinema.
Film Production Journey
He made his production debut in 2017, with his first notable film releases being M.L.A (2018), Oh Baby (2019), Venky Mama (2019), and Adhyaksha in America (2019). His company also collaborated on films such as Karthikeya 2, Nishabdham, and Raja Raja Chora. Under his own banner, he produced Dhamaka, BRO – The Avatar, Eagle, Manamey, Mr. Bachchan, SWAG, and Viswam.
Slate of Upcoming Projects
People Media Factory maintains a busy roster, with over 20 films in production, including G2, The Raja Saab, Mirai, Maa Kaali, and Pinaka (Kannada and Telugu), among others. The house has also ventured into OTT, producing series like Kudi Yedamaithe, Newsense, and Harikatha.
Distribution & Ambitions
Beyond production, Vishwa Prasad acquired the Telugu theatrical distribution rights for Adipurush, investing based on the strength of its trailer alone. He also revealed plans to produce up to 100 films, aiming to reach 50 productions by next year. Looking ahead, he expressed aspirations of producing Hollywood films once industry conditions stabilize post-pandemic.
Pan-Indian Expansion & Collaborations
He confirmed upcoming Kannada film ventures, targeting the production of four Kannada films in 2025, and noted the OTT series Harikatha will stream on Disney+ Hotstar. He is also in talks with Bollywood’s Dharma Productions and Karan Johar to release his superhero film Mirai in Hindi, aiming to replicate the pan-India success of Karthikeya 2.
