Toby Michael C. A. Hemingway born in 28 May 1983 is a British actor who has appeared on television, film and music video productions. Toby is best known for playing Reid Garwin in the 2006 supernatural thriller The Covenant. He also made appearances in CSI: Miami, Bones and Summerland. His most current projects are starring in films such as Black Swan, Into the Darkness, Street and Playback. Life and career Hemingway was born in Brighton, England and moved to Ojai, California when he was thirteen, with his mother, author Annamaria Hemingway. His father is author Mike Hemingway and he has an older brother named Jay. After graduating high school in 2001 from Laurel Springs School, which provides homeschooling and online education, he attended American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City where he earned an associates degree in Fine Arts. He is signed with International Creative Management. In 2005, he appeared in episodes of the television shows Summerland and Bones. The following year in 2006, he starred in his first major film role in The Covenant. In 2007, he starred in another film called Feast of Love. In 2008, he appeared in CSI: Miami. In July 2010, he acted as the love interest in Taylor Swift's music video for "Mine". Later in 2010, he had a small role in Black Swan.
