UI Story
UI is a Kannada psychological thriller movie written and directed by Upendra. The movie casts Upendra and Reeshma Nanaiah in the main lead roles along with Ravi Shankar, Sadhu Kokila, and many others have seen in supporting roles. The music was composed by B Ajaneesh Loknath while the cinematography was done by H.C. Venu and it is edited by Vijay Raj BG. The film is produced by G Manoharan and Sreekanth KP under Lahari Films & Venus Entertainers banners.
Story
The movie UI unfolds as a film within a film. Renowned director Upendra's movie "UI" (The Symbol) is released across the state. However, the narrative is so complex that viewers struggle to understand it on the first watch. Intrigued by its depth, they keep returning to watch it again, claiming that the story makes sense only when one focuses intensely. While some viewers appreciate its brilliance, others find it bizarre and even stage protests demanding a ban on the movie.
A film critic becomes obsessed with writing a review for Naam but is unable to grasp its meaning, no matter how many times he watches it. Frustrated, he decides to track down director Upendra for answers. However, he is unable to find Upendra. Instead, he stumbles upon a draft of the script that Upendra was about to burn. The critic reads the script and is drawn into the mystery.
What exactly is the story of UI? Why did Upendra want to destroy the script? And what is the enigmatic Kalki story that everyone is so intrigued by? The answers to these questions unravel in the remaining part of UI.

Real Star Upendra's PAN-India movie UI was released in theaters on December 20, 2024, simultaneously in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi.
