Premalu is a Malayalam romantic-comedy drama directed by  Gireesh A D , featuring Naslen and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles. The script for the movie was co-written by Gireesh along with Kiran Josey. It was jointly produced by Dileesh Pothan, Fahadh Faasil, and Syam Pushkaran under the banner of Bhavana Studios. Alongside Naslen and Mamitha Baiju, the film features pivotal roles played by Shyam Mohan, Akhila Bhargavan, Sangeeth Prathap, Althaf Salim , and Meenakshi Raveendran . Ajmal Sabu handled the cinematography, Akash Joseph Varghese managed the editing, and Vishnu Vijay composed the music. Movie Plot This is a delightful romantic drama centered around Sachin, a young introvert who has just completed his graduation in Salem without a clear plan for the future. With dreams of going to the UK but lacking financial support, his life takes a turn when he reconnects with an old school friend at a birthday party, prompting him to move to Hyderabad. Despite facing rejection in love during his college years, Sachin's life takes a new direction when he encounters Reenu, a beautiful and confident woman, at a wedding. Instantly smitten, Sachin finds himself captivated by Reenu, but her strong principles and specific expectations for a partner make winning her heart a challenging journey. However, everything changes when Reenu begins to realize her own feelings for Sachin, leading to a transformative shift in their relationship dynamic. Box Office Collection 'Premalu' has amassed a staggering Rs. 100 crore globally, making a surprising entry into the prestigious '100 crore club'. It stands as the fifth Malayalam and ninth overall film to surpass the Rs. 50 crore milestone in Kerala alone. The movie debuted in theaters on February 9, raking in Rs. 9 lakh on its opening day. Overall, its Indian gross earnings exceed Rs. 57 crore to date, while the Telugu dubbed version also garnered approximately Rs. 50 lakhs.
