Good Bad Ugly Story

Good, Bad, Ugly is an Tamil action-thriller directed by Adhik Ravichandran. The movie features Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan in the lead roles, backed by a talented ensemble cast including Prabhu, Prasanna, Arjun Das, Yogi Babu, Sunil, Simran Bagga, Redin Kingsley, and Priya Prakash Varrier in a key role.

With an electrifying soundtrack composed by GV Prakash Kumar and stunning cinematography by Abinadhan Ramanujam, the film is set to deliver an intense cinematic experience. Trailer Release 

The highly anticipated trailer for Ajith’s Good Bad Ugly was released on April 4th at 9 PM. In just 2 minutes, the trailer revealed the cast and key plot points, sparking even more excitement for the film. Director  Adhik Ravichandran, known for his exceptional trailers and teasers, has once again delivered. Good Bad Ugly quickly became a sensation, amassing 32.01 million views within 24 hours. This achievement has made it the most-viewed theatrical trailer for any Tamil film to date.

Story 

AK, once a feared crime boss known as Red Dragon, turns himself in to the police, hoping to leave his violent past behind and build a peaceful life with his wife Ramya and son Vihaan. After spending a few years in prison, AK is released and sets out to reunite with his son, who now lives abroad. Before he can leave, he meets Ramya in India, but their emotional reunion is cut short when assassins attack him. Though he survives, Ramya begs him to stay away, fearing his past will only bring more danger. Soon after, AK receives shocking news, Vihaan has been arrested in a foreign country for drug possession. AK rushes to help and learns from Vihaan that he was drugged, his girlfriend Nithya was shot, and he has no memory of what happened. As AK investigates, he discovers a gang called The Dark Wolves, run by Johnny, who secretly has a twin brother, Jammy. The world believes they're one person, and they’ve used this secret to their advantage. AK uncovers that the twins are targeting Vihaan as revenge because Ramya had once recorded Jammy’s confession and exposed his crimes. In a shocking twist, AK finds out that Nithya is actually alive and was part of the plan to frame Vihaan. He captures Jammy and Nithya and hides them in a safe house, but Ramya, trying to help, unintentionally leads Johnny to them. A dangerous chase follows, ending in a brutal fight where AK defeats the twins. Though they’re arrested and Vihaan is cleared, Johnny and Jammy escape during transport — only for AK to track them down and finish what he started, putting an end to the threat against his family once and for all.

Release

Initially, both Good Bad Ugly and Vidamuyaarchi were slated for a January 2025 release to coincide with the highly anticipated Pongal festival. However, with Vidamuyaarchi now officially postponed, the spotlight has firmly shifted to Good Bad Ugly. This has further increased the anticipation surrounding the film, as fans eagerly await its theatrical release.
