Vanangaan Story

Vanangaan (aka Vanangan) is a Tamil cult drama movie written and directed by cult filmmaker Bala. It stars Arun Vijay in the lead role, alongside Roshni Prakash, Mysskin, and Samuthirakani. This flick boasts a talented cast, including Mamitha Baiju, George Maryan, and many others.

Balasubramaniem's cinematography will visually captivate us throughout the film, while Sathish Suriya's editing is sharp and precise. G. V. Prakash's soundtracks and background music will evoke a deep emotional response, while Vairamuthu's legendary lyrics will resonate with the Tamil audience. Suresh Kamatchi produced this film under the banner of V House Productions and B Studios.

In this film, Suriya was initially announced to star with Krithi Shetty in March 2022, and it was tentatively titled Suriya 42, which was later officially announced as Vanangaan. However, due to storyline changes, the lead cast was dropped. Before this film, Suriya had collaborated with Bala on the evergreen films Nandha and Pithamagan.
