According to a Bollywood Bubble report, Shivam is set to join the show after the time leap as the new male lead. He has reportedly signed the contract and is confirmed to continue being a part of the show. However, an official announcement regarding the same is still awaited from the makers' side.

For those who are unaware, Shivam Khajuriya is an actor who has featured in several shows including Colors TV's Molkki and Dangal's Mann Sundar. He is best known for playing the role of Mihika's former love Mayank in Kumkum Bhagya.

As per the ongoing buzz, Harshad and Pranali's popular characters of Abhimanyu and Akshara will soon die in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. While Abhimanyu is likely to die in a car accident, Akshara too will soon meet with a tragic end leaving AbhiRa fans sad.
