Produced by Sobo Films, the show stars Marathi actress Rutuja Bagwe in the lead role, much to the excitement of fans eagerly anticipating its premiere.

After a long wait, Maati Se Bandhi Dor makers finally unveiled its first promo yesterday (May 9). In the show, Rutuja Bagwe will take on the role of Vaijanati (Vaiju) and Ankit Gupta will portray the character of Rannvijay.

Based in the scenic locale of Kolhapur, Maharashtra, Maati Se Bandhi Dor chronicles the challenges and journey of Vaiju, who works in the fields to provide for her family. However, fate has its own twists in store. Vaiju is known for her strong family values, diligent work ethics, and ambitious vision, as she strives to improve her standard of living and contribute to the upliftment of her village.

The show's creators have unveiled their first captivating promo, featuring Vaiju diligently working in the fields with her mother. During their conversation, her mother brings up a marriage proposal. When Vaiju meets Rannvijay (played by Ankit Gupta), the Sarpanch's son, she assumes he is the potential groom. However, Rannvijay's response dashes her hopes as he explains that he doesn't see Vaiju as a suitable match due to differing ideals in his search for an ideal partner.

As anticipation reaches an all time high among fans, the latest buzz reveals that the creators of Maati Se Bandhi Dor have signed another talented actress to join Vaiju and Rannvijay's story. We're referring to actress Resham Prashant, known for her pivotal roles in popular shows like Nazar and Imlie.

MAATI SE BADHI DOR LAUNCH DATE & TIME SLOT REVEALED

While Maati Se Badhi Dor was rumoured to be replacing Imlie at 8:30 pm, that's not the case. Yes, you read that right! The show is confirmed to replace Pandya Store at 7:30 pm and will premiere on May 27, from Monday to Sunday on Star Plus.
