Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Controversy: Produced by Rajan Shahi, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai premiered on Star Plus in 2009 and is currently revolving around the fourth-generation protagonists, Armaan and Abhira. The makers introduced the leap last year with Shehzada Dhami and Samridhii Shukla as the new lead stars after the exits of Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod.

However, in a shocking turn of events, Rajan Shahi terminated Shehzada Dhami from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai due to unprofessional behavior and left the whole industry and viewers shocked. Later, Udaariyaan star Rohit Purohit entered the long-running Star Plus show as new Armaan Poddar.

With each passing day, the loyal fanbase of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is loving Rohit Purohit's performance as Armaan as well as onscreen chemistry with Samridhii Shukla aka Abhira. Three months after his exit from YRKKH, ex-hero Shehzada Dhami finally opened up about his termination from the hit show and shared his side of story with Siddharth Kannan.

Besides talking about his exit, the actor also opened up about Rohit Purohit stepping into his shoes and shared a message for him. On being asked if he has seen Rohit's performance as Armaan Poddar, Shehzada denied the same and said 'good luck' to him. Yes, you read that right!

Shehzada stated, "Good luck to him. Unke liye bhi mai ye kahunga ki theek hai, tumhei mila hai mauka bhai, tum karo. Har actor kaam karne aata hai, mehnat karne aata hai, tum bhi mehnat karo, har cheez haasil ho jaati hai. Maine badi mehnat se ye 120 episodes mei Armaan Poddar, ek frame khada kiya tha, ek imarat khadi ki thi, jo deh gayi hai. Wo TV ka best character hai abhi, Armaan, jo maine play kiya hai, I'm proudly saying this."

SHEHZADA DHAMI REVEALS YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI EXIT REAL REASON

In the same interview, Shehzada Dhami revealed what happened with him on Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai set and why he was ousted from the show. According to the actor, he experienced mistreatment and demeaning behavior from a certain director on the set starting from the very first day of shooting in Mahabaleshwar. Despite the harsh treatment, he chose not to retaliate. Shehzada explained that the director's rudeness and condescending attitude were consistent.

While Shehzada managed to ignore things happening with him, he could not ignore the unfair treatment of others, specifically Pratiksha Honmukhe. He admitted that one of his weaknesses is his inability to tolerate the unjust targeting of innocent people. Shehzada had an intuition about his departure after he stood up for Pratiksha when the director mistreated her.

Additionally, Shehzada mentioned that Rajan Shahi never engaged in a direct conversation with him or heard his side of the story before terminating him.
