Sooraj Pancholi On His Acquittal In Jiah Khan’s Death Case: Glad This Has Come To An End, I’ve Won My Dignity

In what came as a big verdict by the Special CBI court, Sooraj Pancholi has been acquitted in Jiah Khan's death case. For the uninitiated, Sooraj Pancholi was the main accused in the Housefull actress' death case and was charged with the abetment to suicide. The trial had begun in 2019 and Sooraj Panjcholi had been pleading not guilty in the matter.

While his acquittal has left everyone brimming with an opinion, Sooraj is relieved with the verdict. The actor stated that facing the allegations imposed against him wasn't an easy task. However, he is glad to win his dignity after 10 long painful years and sleepless nights. Sooraj also emphasised that there is nothing bigger than peace in this world

In his official statement, Sooraj said, "The Verdict has taken 10 long painful years and sleepless nights, But today I have not only won this case against me but I have also won my dignity and confidence back, it took a lot of courage to face the world with such heinous allegations, I hope and pray to God that nobody goes through what I have gone through at such a young age, I don't know who will give me these 10 years of my life back to me, but I am glad that this has finally come to an end not only for me but especially for my family. There is nothing bigger than peace in this world".

Earlier, the Hero actor had also shared a post on social media stated, "The truth always wins #GodIsGreat". This isn't all. He also sent sweets to the paps waiting at his residence.

On the other hand, Jiah Khan's mother Rabia Khan isn't happy with the verdict and called the late actor's demise a murder. She also asserted that she will be moving to the High Court to get justice for Jiah. Rabia stated, "Main ek baat kahungi, aaj abetment to suicide eradicate hua hai, lekin the question mark is how did my child die? So, the cause of death is still pending".
