to
the
suicide
of
his
then
girlfriend,
actress
Jiah
Khan,
was
found
not
guilty
by
the
court.
The
legal
battle
that
ran
for
almost
a
decade
came
to
an
end
on
Friday,
April
29.
Sooraj,
who
has
now
been
acquitted
of
the
charges,
recently
shared
some
surprising
revelations
in
an
interview
with
a
news
website
and
revealed
who
from
the
industry
had
supported
him
through
the
hearing
of
the
case.

Talking
to
the
Hindustan
Times,
Sooraj
revealed
that
the
past
10
years
have
been
very
difficult
for
him.
He
added
that
he
felt
extremely
lonely
because
he
could
not
speak
to
his
family
about
it,
as
they
were
already
going
through
a
lot
because
of
him.
"And
besides
my
family,
I
don't
really
speak
to
anybody,"
he
said.
Further,
the
Hero
actor
said
that
he
had
received
tremendous
support
from
his
peers
as
well
as
seniors.
Showing
gratitude
to
all
who
were
there
for
his
help,
Sooraj
said,
"The
biggest
example
is
Salman
Khan
sir,
Suniel
Shetty
sir,
Nikkhil
Advani,
Bhushan
Kumar
sir,
Remo
D'Souza
sir,
Ahmad
Khan,
Athiya
Shetty."
"There
have
been
people,
but
I
have
to
make
a
mark
on
my
own
in
this
industry.
It
has
been
difficult.
I
have
knocked
on
each
and
every
person's
door
to
get
work,"
he
said.
He
also
stated
that
being
a
star
kid
has
not
worked
in
his
favour.
He
said,
"I
had
this
sword
hanging
over
my
head
before
I
was
even
an
actor.
For
me,
the
star
kid
tag
doesn't
really
match
up."

dead
at
his
Mumbai
home
on
June
3,
2013.
A
six
page
letter
allegedly
written
by
the
deceased
actress
was
also
discovered,
and
her
then
boyfriend,
Sooraj
Pancholi,
was
accused
of
aiding
her
suicide.
However,
after
10
years,
he
was
discharged
from
all
charges
due
to
a
lack
of
evidence.
